Who we are

This website, carinsuranceboyntonbeach.com, is operated by two independently owned and operated Estrella Insurance franchise agencies in Boynton Beach, Florida:

In this policy, "we", "us" and "our" mean these two agencies. This policy explains what information we collect through this website, how we use it and the choices you have. When you buy an insurance policy, you will also receive the privacy notices required by insurance law from us and from the insurance company that issues your policy.

Information you give us

When you fill out our quote request form, we collect your name, phone number, email address, the type of insurance you are interested in and any message you write. The form also records the page and language you used and how you reached our site (for example, an ad or a printed QR code). If you call us, write to us by email or start a WhatsApp conversation, we receive the information you share in that conversation.

Please do not send Social Security numbers, driver's license numbers, bank or card numbers, or health information through the form. We will ask for the information needed for a quote by phone or in our office.

Information collected automatically

• Google Analytics. We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site: pages viewed, time on page, device and browser, approximate location (city level), the website or ad that sent you, and clicks on buttons such as call, WhatsApp, quote or form. Google Analytics uses cookies to collect this data. Learn how Google uses this information at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
• OpenAI (ChatGPT ads) measurement. We use the OpenAI ads measurement pixel to know whether a visit came from one of our ads on ChatGPT and whether it led to a contact action (call, WhatsApp, online quote or form). The pixel may use cookies and may send OpenAI encoded (hashed) contact identifiers; it does not send the text of your message.
• Google Maps. Our pages show maps of our offices from Google Maps. When a map loads, Google may collect information about your device and set cookies under its own privacy policy.
• Server logs. Our hosting provider records technical information such as IP address, browser type and the date and time of each visit, for security and to keep the site working.

Cookies

Cookies are small files stored in your browser. This site uses:

• Google Analytics cookies (_ga and _ga_ followed by an ID): measure visits; last up to 2 years.
• OpenAI measurement cookies (__oppref, up to 30 days; __obref, up to 1 year): connect a visit with a ChatGPT ad.
• Google Maps cookies: set by Google when the office maps load.
• Session storage (est_src): remembers how you reached the site while your tab is open, so we know where your request came from. It is deleted when you close the tab.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and you can stop Google Analytics with Google's opt-out add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. The site will keep working if you block cookies. Our site does not currently respond to "Do Not Track" browser signals.

How we use your information

• To answer your request, prepare insurance quotes and serve you as a client.
• To contact you about your request by phone, email, text message or WhatsApp.
• To understand which pages and ads work, and to improve the site.
• To protect the site against spam and misuse, and to meet legal and regulatory requirements.

How we share your information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as needed:

• With insurance companies, when you ask us to quote or place coverage for you.
• With Estrella Insurance, our franchisor, and with the systems we use to manage clients, when needed to serve you.
• With service providers that run this site for us: Hostinger (hosting and email), Google (Analytics and Maps), OpenAI (ad measurement) and WhatsApp, when you choose to message us there.
• When the law requires it or to protect our rights and our clients.

We do not share your mobile phone number or your consent to receive text messages with third parties or affiliates for their marketing purposes.

Calls and text messages

If you give us your phone number in a request, we will contact you about that request. We send marketing text messages only to people who have agreed to receive them. Message and data rates may apply. You can reply STOP to any text message to stop receiving them, or ask us by phone or email.

How long we keep information

We keep quote requests for as long as needed to respond and serve you, and afterwards only as required for our business records and by law. Analytics data is kept according to our Google Analytics settings.

Security

The site uses an encrypted connection (HTTPS), and form requests are stored in a location that is not publicly accessible. No system is completely secure, so please do not send sensitive information through the form.

Your choices

You can ask us to tell you what information we have about you from this site, to correct it or to delete it, unless we must keep it by law. Contact the agency you worked with using the details above. Depending on the state where you live, you may have additional rights under local law.

Children

This site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Other websites

Some buttons take you to other sites, such as the Estrella Insurance online quote pages, WhatsApp or social networks. Those sites have their own privacy policies.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. The effective date at the top shows when it last changed.
